XIA Automation Server uses 2048 bit RSA Keys to secure information contained within the automation profiles and server configuration settings. 


The keys are generated by XIA Automation Server setup during installation and are stored in the App_Data\Encryption folder.


The files are named pub.key and priv.key for the public and private keys respectively. 


NOTE:  These keys are essential for the security of the XIA Automation Server and should be kept secure. 


Should you lose these encryption keys you will not be able to decrypted passwords stored in automation profiles and server configuration settings.
