This section describes the installation process of XIA Configuration Express. For information about the removal of the product see the uninstallation section.


  • Download the latest installation package.

  • Check that the system you are installing on meets the system requirements.

  • Start the installer.



  • Review the End User License Agreement (EULA) and only accept if you agree to the terms. If you do not accept the terms of the agreement please cancel the installation.



  • Review the installation properties setting the folder if required and whether to enable PowerShell remoting on the local machine, and configure the trusted hosts setting to allow connections to any host.



  • The installation progress will be shown.



  • Click finish to complete the installation. By default XIA Configuration Express will automatically be started when the installation completes.
